Dances of Universal Peace are held monthly at the Columbus Mennonite Church the second Saturday night of the month. 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Suggested donation of $7-12; all are welcome even without donation. Children welcome to join the circle with accompanying parent or caretaker.

Guest leaders from around the USA who will be in Columbus to participate in the workshop with Neil Douglas-Klotz will join in leading a special dance circle at the Martin de Porres Center. Organized by Tasnim Blight.

Music Attunement Session - For dance leaders, dance leaders-in-training, musicians, and advanced dancers. Held prior to monthly dance sessions for attunement to the theme, dances, and walks that will be led. Times and places announced via email each month. Gathas Class (Sufi Studies) is held bimonthly and taught by Aatoon Nina Massey.This ongoing class is the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Click here for details about the class .

Held at Whetstone Park, this ritual focuses upon the healing for the earth and celebrates the indigenous wisdom given to us from the six continents of planet Earth.

Elemental Peace Ritual
...for the healing of the earth

led by Elizabeth A. Reed of Shalem Center

No previous experience is needed - just an open and willing attitude. Wear informal and comfortable clothing and shoes.

There is no charge for this gathering.

Come as an individual, with your partner, spouse, friends, children. All are welcome.

We will chant simple songs representing spiritual paths from the major continents of the world. We celebrate the wisdom that grows from the earth, water, fire and air from each continent on Planet Earth.

We will meditate for a few moments together to send out healing for the planet.

Please ask to put your name on our mailing list Sufi Gathas classes are held every other Tuesday evening at Shalem Center in Worthington. All are welcome.

July 18-30 - Rev. Elizabeth Reed, Director, will be in Mendecino, CA taking Abwoon Resource Center to the annual Mendecino Sufi Camp. Office will remain open and Amy Alwood, Bookstore Manager and Admin. Asst to Shalem/ARC will be responding to all calls.
